How To Meet People At Parties, Part Two

Posted in Article with tags , on June 28, 2010 by Radagast

Now that we’ve done some of the preliminary work and covered the bases in the first part, I’m going to go ahead and get into some of the finer points of wedging ones foot in the door. Much of this may be “for beginners” but those of you with experience can also follow along and add to it in the comments section.

How To Meet People At Parties, Part One

Posted in Article with tags , , on June 24, 2010 by Radagast

I’ve been asked by some unnamed and as far as you know non-existent person to further discuss some of the ways that people can meet other people in the scene. A few parties have come and gone but there are still a few scheduled events for the future including Crimson Moon, SSNY’s July 31st event and Shadow Lane on Labor Day weekend (as well as an FMS party in the fall…I think). So now’s as good a time as any to talk about this subject. I’ll try to be practical in my advice as well as stretch this topic out through multiple posts to get my page views up.

Yes, It Is All About Me (And You Too)

There is enough room in this scene for all of us to do the most important thing we are here to do — have fun.

No Personal Attacks

Posted in Announcement on June 18, 2010 by Radagast

I’m going to make this short and sweet. If you leave a comment on this blog that is a personal attack against anyone, it’s going to be archived away from view. I go out of my way to not attack anyone personally and to make these discussions about topics not people. Take care when you write something. We are all presumably adults and can filter ourselves.

As to the last topic that elicited the offending comment: We are all guilty of creating “drama” at one time or another. The drama I mention isn’t about what one or two people did, it’s also about what I do and what other people in this scene do. It happens. I was remarking how good it was to have it somewhat subdued during the last couple of things that I attended.

This is the last time I’m going to mention this and from now on will remove offending comments without warning. If this persists, comments will be turned off until people learn how to act.

Special Note To The Person Who Left That Comment:

If you would like to discuss anything with me personally, send me an email by clicking on the Contact Me link to the right of this page. It’s rather easy in this day and age to set up an anonymous email address if you want to remain that way.

The FMS Tropical Beach Party and then OTK Night at Paddles — both had something in common. These were events where adults got together and acted like adults with nothing else to detract from the enjoyment. This is what I like.

More Joy Of Caning

Posted in Article with tags , on June 13, 2010 by Radagast

The more I do it, the more I like it. Caning has become one of my favorite activities that falls under the umbrella of spanking. It’s not just about OTK anymore.

OTK Night At Paddles Is Tonight

Posted in Announcement on June 12, 2010 by Radagast

That would be June 12th, 2010 which also happens to be the birthday of my lovely wife, the vivacious and energetic Ms. Cassandra Park (a.k.a Sandy). OTK Night begins at 7pm but there will be the usual munch beforehand at the Moonstruck Diner, 9th Avenue & 23rd Street in Manhattan. OTK Night was moved this month due to the Florida Moonshine Tropical Beach Party last week and will also be moved to the second Saturday of July due to the July 4th weekend.

Come out and meet your neighborhood spankos tonight and enjoy the discount for the club that comes with attending the munch.

Paddles is on 26th Street just east of 8th Avenue. The entrance is adjacent to the parking lot.
