The Best Laid Plans

Oh, well. The Paddles extravaganza did not happen the way I had planned, in fact, it did not happen at all.

There are times in ones professional life when one has to attend certain work related gatherings. So it was for our intrepid Sandy and her supportive husband Rad. However, it would nice if these things would end in a timely fashion or not be so mind-numbingly dull that they would sap every ounce of strength from you.

Like I said, oh well, but I’m not going to take this laying down. This little scenario is getting played out in Vegas in front of a suite full of people. It’s the least I can do for myself.

  1. So, um, how does one get invited to THAT suite? πŸ˜‰

  2. We won’t make a secret about it and we don’t card anyone either.

  3. I want to come and see this scenario played out in front of a room full of people! Be sure to post the when and where!

    (I’m sorry the club/scene was a bust.)

We will make sure you get the heads up.

  5. Oh, so THIS is what will happen in Vegas?

  7. When you have a expectation of a certain scene you would like to play out and one way or another it doesn’t happen can be very disappointing. I hate it when the vanilla world creeps in and spoils our fun. I hope you and Sandy at least were able to make up for it in private last night. πŸ˜‰

As for Vegas… there’s only one thing I have to say about that… YAY!

  8. Gee Rad:
We’d be happy to volunteer our suite at SL for this.

  9. Reality does often bite but there are ways of alleviating those little annoyances. As for using your suite k…it avoids me having to clean up mine.

  10. Too bad it didn’t happen last night…its awful when life interrupts! But it could be fun in Vegas! *yay*

  11. The 10th floor of the Suncoast is going to be a noisy one! G and I treated ourselves to a suite as well. What fun it will be to walk down the hall and hear “ow!” and sounds of implements in use and know exactly what’s going on behind closed doors. πŸ™‚

D: It’s always a weird feeling walking down the hall and hearing those sounds – I just hope there are no vanillas that have been accidentally placed on our floor.
