I tweeted the word “iconoclast” this morning which prompted this thought: The rules that some Doms set up for engaging with their subs don’t work for me. Not one bit.

Love Our Lurkers IV

Does that mean “four” or “intravenous”? I suspect it means the latter considering I sometimes need an IV of strong coffee to get going in the morning. So it’s another “Love Our Lurkers” day which means an acknowledgment of those people who read yet do not comment and an invitation for them to out themselves just this once (and perhaps forever more) with a brief remark or comment.

A Fun Night

After several days dealing with the mundane yet nerve wracking task being part of my company’s move from one location to another, Saturday night came along just in time to inject a healthy helping of enjoyment. And not a moment too soon.

Meant To Write Last Night

Vanilla life got in the way. I have allergies that assault my sinuses in the worst way and sinuses that are probably deviated or at least deviant. The pain got so bad last night that I asked Sandy to drive me to the ER because I was afraid it was an infection. Fortunately, it was not, just my body unhappy with the mold & mildew of autumn on top of the dust, dander, pollen and everything else my nose is allergic to.

More About Roles

Taking on a role in someone’s life, whether scene, vanilla or a little of both, is something that I compare with the way a friendship develops. It’s organic and has a natural progression that fits in the lives of the people who are in it. Like any relationship in my life, it has to fit otherwise I’m not going to do it.

OTK Night Tonight

We’ll see how many show up to the October edition of Paddles famous OTK Night. Sandy and I will be hosting the munch so there’ll be plenty of burgers being eaten as well as that one oddball that gets a full lamb dinner. There’s always one in the crowd.

Labels, too. I understand that it’s a type of shorthand for people in the scene but none of them particularly mean anything to me nor do they define me in any significant way.
